Interior Design is a multi-faceted discipline that focuses on conceptulizing and designing of interior spaces in such a way that they are conducive to high-quality and high productive life. The profession also considers safety and welfare protocol norms laid out by the regulating bodies. The career demands for an artistic bent of mind and good imagination for space planning, construction management and effective use of available materials and products. The job of an interior designer in an ever evolving and changing world is to create spaces which are plush, functional and adaptable in an residential or a workplace to motivate and encourage the user.

Course Structure
The Curriculum is designed for a full-time 4 year course which is divided into 8 semesters. The first 6 semesters are devoted entirely towards study of basics of drawing and principles of interior design while the 7th semester the students have to submit a dissertation along with a project report. The 8th semester includes a full-time internship for a 20 week period in an interior designer’s office.
