M.F.A PAINTING
MFA Painting is a two-year regular course meant for students with a BFA/BVA to develop their Pictorial language of their own. It consists of a combination of creative work and thesis. This course assumes a high level of both theoretical and practical expertise in painting. The course is designed to carefully nurture the core methods, ideas and approaches of its students. It aims to encourage experimentation while supporting the development of a critical focus for the work. The course is studio based with world-class technical facilities and teaching that will consolidate and strengthen students position as practitioners in the field of Contemporary Art.
Eligibility Criteria
Should have completed 4 years B.F.A. Painting in regular stream from a recognized University in India or abroad.
Admission
Students have to Qualify in the Entrance test conducted by the University. The course intake will be 20 Students per year. Admission into this course will be made in two steps followed by written Test and Submission of Portfolio of 10 works of 6 inches X 8 Inches size Photograph/ Digital Print) along with a write up on his/ her work of Art. All these must be attested by the concern teacher at previous institution where he has studied Under graduation in Fine Arts.

Submission of work:Candidate should write his /her details on the back of each Photograph/ Digital Print as follows after the completion of entrance test immediately. Students should not leave examination hall without submission of Portfolio.
